PAPUA - AMBON


Mission Trip to Taumi Village - Papua


 Getting ready to leave Nabire to Taumi village early in the morning...
Bringing fuel for the boat, life safety jackets, food supplies,
medical supplies, books and stationary gifts for kids







In the boat for 3 hours on the sea and 5 hours up-river


A quick stop before entering the river - at mangrove forest

An Auye man gave me papaya for breakfast. They have been taught how to grow food.

They have a very poor knowledge and awareness about health and hygiene.
